Beginning with a pure intention, nurtured with deep conviction, and developed through careful reflection, we then step forward with Risalatuna as our face in the global public sphere—a space where the world recognizes our existence and where we introduce our values and identity to humanity. Risalatuna becomes our wings, enabling us to soar into the expanse of the universe to observe its vastness, while at the same time serving as a shared space of dialogue with others. Risalatuna is an integral part of our being.
Together with Risalatuna, we have earlier pioneered a modest pesantren, grounding its core studies in Islamic creed (ʿaqīdah) and philosophy—an intentional choice we believe will remain a foundational anchor for the future growth and development of Islamic studies. Through Risalatuna, we have also initiated and engaged in collaborations with various institutions, organizing programs that explore diverse academic disciplines and more specific thematic inquiries, all within the broader scope of Islamic studies. Within the Risalatuna forum, we invite scholars and researchers to pour their creative ideas into the space of literature.
Finally, in an era dominated by social media—an era that has generated disruptions across nearly all fields—let us return to lived reality: reading slowly, reflecting in search of clarity, believing amid lingering doubt, and writing it all down with commas rather than conclusions. This is where we begin, just as Risalatuna began—under the auspices of the Ginaya al-Risalah Foundation, Yogyakarta, registered under decree number AHU-0019922.AH.01.04 of 2024.
